Our five trademarked Little Bird Animals — Ava Bird™, Leo Lion™, Max Octopus™, Kalli Gecko™, and Teddy Bird™ — were born in 2007 from a friend's gift to our newborn daughter and grew into a full nest, each character shaped by one of my five children.
